Went today with the intent of getting an RTV900 Worksite. The little wife went along. The dealer had just received a shipment of the "special edition" RTV's. There were 8 of them sitting there pretty as could be. The wife really likes the silver. The wife really like the fancy wheels. She says it is much nicer than orange. She did say though that is does not look like a Kubota, it otta be orange. However, that didn't mean she doesn't like it any more. I put off getting a machine until she makes up my mind.

Fancy wheels really don't mean anything to me but she likes them.......

Speedo not important....don't need to know I am going 25.......

I do like the fact that the bed liner is already there and I like the roof being there, two things I intended to add anyway.

I can live with the orange but she really likes the silver with the black trimmings and silver fancy wheels.

I am not sure of the msrp on this unit but looks like about $1200 difference to go to this unit. I am sure there are differing opinions about this and I may even get some here. Just wanted to talk about it and she is napping right now. I know ultimately it is a decision I have to make.

I hate it when my mind is made up and then something creeps in and just creates havoc..... Oh well, at least I got to vent a little

I saw one at the dealer last week and I think the silver color makes it look cheap and more like a toy --

-- and with those wheels, people not in the know will mistake it for a souped-up golf cart --

:|

i got my bed line-x'd for $150 -- that's a lot less than the silver package.

Yea but........The little lady likes it. I don't know that it looks cheap. I kinda like the color. Yamaha had a silver SE Grizzley a few years back. I liked it but the paint was chipping easlily so I bought a red one.

I can get a Rhino liner sprayed for $100 so that is definately cheaper. Not sure what the roof costs.

I know the roof and liner are not $1200. The speedo I believe is around $150.

Decisions..decisions

Get the Silver edition and be done with it. Anything to make the wife a little happier when I'm buying something for myslef is money well spent.

Also, this leaves room for adding an orange one down the road for a his/her combo..:D

I saw a silver ltd. ed. at dealer yesterday. It is way to beautiful to be using as a utility vehicle. The paint job was very nice. I couldn't stand to have it scratched if I owned one.

I just got back from the dealer. I originally wanted the worksite utility beacause it has the hydraulic valves for the tools. I couldn't justify the $2000 premium and +/- $1500 for the first tool. The salesman also tried to talk me out of it. He thought I could find better ways.

The wife preferred the silver and so did I. It's a bit more subtle. She thought orange might be safer on the road but silver was a lot classier. We both liked the canopy. I liked the bed liner.

We'll use it on the land but also to visit neighbors.

I got the first one. Three more coming and he can't order any more. When they are gone they are gone....so you won't have to worry about choosing between silver and orange:)

It gets delivered Friday

The dealer I was at has 8 units and has not sold any yet. I did talk with another dealer about 20 miles farther from me who had 15 and has sold 3. The dealer who is farther away is $300 cheaper.

If I decide on the silver then I have to decide where to go and get it. Both dealers are very ruputable and have been in business for as long as I can remember and when talking with them they are both very nice and I feel trustworthy. I'm going to feel bad for one of them.

Buy one from each dealer and you can keep the wife and the dealers happy. Its a win win for everyone and your pocket book will be happy to not have to carry all that extra weight around:)

Oh Yea! Why didn't I think of that. I could even get a silver one and and orange one if I were to do it that way

Great idea :')
