I have a Kubota RTV 1100 with the Kubota electric over hydrolic plow. It goes up and down, and angles left but will not angle back to the right. Nothing is bent and all the electric connections are good. It worked a month ago when I put it on..then today I went to move it and it would not angle.. any ideas ?

Make sure all the quick connects on the hoses are on good. It’s letting fluid go into a cylinder but not out. If those are connected good it is a check valve. Make sure the collars are all the way forward

There are no quick connects on this plow. It has a 7pin plug like a trailer would and that plug sends power to the plow. All the hoses are permanent and do not couple together

Ok. Is there a hydraulic block that the angle cylinder hoses go to? Sometimes there is a check valve in those

This is what it looks like

Maybe take a test light to the wire going into those solenoids. I’m guessing one is not getting the signal to open or it’s stuck

Sounds like one of the plug contacts isn’t making a good connection, could try cleaning them up,a dap of dielectric grease and check your ground.

I hit the plug with dielectric grease..first thing I did... it makes noise when I hit the angle button, so it's getting power. It's just not moving.

Have you loosened the hydraulic fitting on the cylinder that won’t move? See if you can determine if it’s getting flow or something is wrong with a cylinder. It’s a long shot but sometimes hoses collapse internally and make a check valve

I just tried that.. I had my wife push the up,down, left, right and I thought if I had the test light on which ever solenoid controlled that function..it would light up. But none of them do. ..but it still goes up and down..no lighting the test light up... there is a power in cable at the top of the motor and that lights up ghe test light. ..so it's getting power.

I have not done that. .. this plow is only a couple years old and has very little use.. I can't imagine a hose has failed.

Any chance there is a little ice in it ? If so get it warmed up and drain all fluid. Disconnect the lower hoses and run the plow back and forth by hand to expel all fluid in pistons and refill.

I said it’s a long shot. Does the manual have a troubleshooting section. I’m sure it’s something simple

Does the pump run one direction to supply pressure to one cylinder and then the switch reverses the polarity and run the other way to angle the other way? It doesn’t get hydraulic flow from the RTV?

It has its own hydro tank..nothing from the RTV at all. I'm not sure how the pump functions, but I assume it may reverse polarity..but not sure

Yes. I was thinking it got flow from the RTV. Your unit has a electric pump that reverses. Take the lines loose and see if it is pumping both ways

I'm thinking it has to be a solenoid issue. Just don't know which one or how to trouble shoot it.

VERIFY that ALL electrical connections and ALL hydraulic connections are as they should be.

It would appear that one or more electrical or hydraulic connection(s) is/are compromised.

Mine works as expected after owner installation.

Everything is as it should be. Pump has power and will raise / lower, turned to the left but not to the right. Pump runs but won't move the blade to the right. No leaks or wire damage anywhere.

So I went over every inch of the wiring and connections. They all looked good but I still took every one apart scuffed and reattached them. Took the trailer plug out, scratched both the plug and terminals to make sure they were clean and plugged it back in. Still no good... then went to the back where the 10 amp fuse is and checked that. Fuse was good. .. then tried to move the plow...and it now works. ... I don't think it was any of the electric connections, I think it has a solenoid hanging up and maybe removing and replacing the fuse may have done something.. idk...but it now works. Go figure.
