RTS 5-40 Okay in Kubota BX23? Filter?

Brother just picked up a cherry little 22 HP BX23 with loader and backhoe; 82 hrs on it. He was wondering if Rotella "T" 5W-40 would be okay.
Being a J-D green guy, I'm not sure about questions related to orange but I'm sure it'll work fine.

According to the WIX site it looks like the Kubota HH150-32094 filter crosses to a WIX 51365/NAPA 1365, which is the same filter my 24 HP J-D's use. Does that sound like the proper part number?

Sounds like the deal of a lifetime if the price was rite.Did he get a mower with it.

I have 1108 hours on my 2004 BX23 but still in great shape.

I think it was $12G or so. Loader/backhoe. No mower.

He has a couple Ferris ZeroTurns for mowing.
