I think the big jumbo jets are 125 ply and weigh close to 1000 lbs. :D

GOOD GRIEF!! The woods boss tractors ( Home ) only run 28 ply tires on the front and 26 ply aircraft tires on the rear. I think 125 ply and 1000 lbs is overkill and would destroy the front end of your tractor.

Why not just contact Cobb County Tractor and see where they get those tires. They are Kevlar reinforced.

No air required I'm sure. I don't think a rubber filled tire would weigh that much. Kevlar reinforced forestry tires would do the trick.

Funny you said that dirt because I did call them last week. Of course I ended up getting a salesman who very quickly told me that they were strictly set up for New Holland and would not work on kubota.

PM me and I will give you the name of the salesman that I have always dealt with, but If they won't sell you a tire then here is another option.

Call HMTC ( Home Page ) in Alabama. They sell both NH and Kubota ROW tractors.

Have you checked with Toby Sexton Toby Sexton Tire Co., Inc.

They have a Recapped aircraft tire. Click on the Right of Way Mowers at top right of page. I saw a tire last week on a ROW tractor that was a recapped aircraft tire. It was a 20.00x20rim about 56" tall 26 ply . It was a rear tire and recapped by Industrail Retreaders of Atlanta,Ga

Thanks Dirt I saw that site a few months ago before I started dealing with a tire dealer out of Waycross Ga. When my deal with them fell through I started back looking for that site again and could not find it.
Hunting, I also give Toby a call and compare prices.
Looking at the tire specs shows they are running a 14.9/24 on the front of a M108. That means that I won't have to get a new rim either. I plan on getting steel centers sooner or later but had rather save every dime possible right now.
