Hi all,
I haven't posted for a while. Have dropped in ocassionally, but work has kept me away from from tractor and from home on regular basis for past few months.
Anyhow. I have come across a Rotomec T30-150 tiller at the right money. 18mths old, but still partially wrapped on delivery pallet.
The tiller is in unused condition and has very simple but nice side shift facility. I just wanted advice of fellow TBN'ers on quality of these units. I understand Rotomec and Befco are the same unit and both are sold in US.
Does anyone have experience of these. I think this one is too good to pass up, but don't want to be buying a lemon either. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

If Rotomec and Befco are the same tiller then it's a very good quality piece of equipment.

Voodoo I have the same looking tiller but the Befco and I can tell you it is a good piece of machinery. I like the way it slides off to the side, good fit and finish and very well made. The only problem I had is the pto guard on the tiller (the big round black shield) comes off when you lift the tiller to high, the angle of the shaft hits it. Not a big deal at all.

I have a Rotomec tiller. It is OK quality. Fine for personal use but not something I would want to use commercially.

I bought mine to turn my 4 acres into a lawn and then to sell. Which reminds me.....I need to think about selling that this spring.

Good Luck,
Kevin
