I'm calling a number of local implement dealers to get their best, delivered prices on a rotary mower and a PHD with 9" auger. Spring is getting close so it's time to get the right implements to get our new pasture in order.

There was one infamous day a few years ago when I had to stop the tractor, get off and detach the rear finish mower, manhandle it away from the tractor, get on the tractor and maneuver it out of the corner, stop the tractor and reattach the mower, and drive on considerably humbled. It was either that or drive through the fence. Somethings you just don't share with the wife.

While this has never happened to me, I could see myself doing exactly this all too easily. As you pointed out, this is one of those situations where you hope no one sees you doing this, particularly the wife! /w3tcompact/icons/eyes.gif
