I’m in the market for a 6 rotary cutter. Currently looking at a Bushwhacker HD 72 ($2400) a Woods BB 720X ($2750), and a Tennessee River Implement Heavy Duty ($1825). Im leaning hard toward the Bushwhacker because of the smooth deck, chain guards front and rear and general construction. The Woods is nice as well, but more $$ and not in stock. The wildcard is the TRI. I don't know anything about them. They look decent, but the gearbox is rated lower (though still far more than my Tractor). Guard chains are an option but not included. I do like the dual rear wheels vs the single on the others and the hitch looks pretty good as well. Any input or suggestions? Thanks!

I'm assuming you know how big a cutter your tractor will handle. I've had a five foot King Kutter for about fifteen years. It's holding up well - no issues whatsoever.

Wound up getting the Bush whacker. Tried it out today. My X1-35 MacCormick pulled it smoothly through 4-5 foot grass (wet) with nary a hitch. Have the cut set low and was running in 3rd and 4th gear. Very good combination.
