I have a 72" Bobcat rotary cutter what sucked up a small log that was just a little too much. So much for a shear bolt. Anyway the gearbox says QMC but when I look it up it is in Chinese:confused2: Any idea on a replacement for this? It is a 1:1.47 Part # 01-182NHG

Thanks

How long have you had the cutter? Check your warranty statement on it, I think the gear box has a 5 yr warranty. If you were using the correct shear pin and it did not save the gear box, I believe Bobcat will cover it if less the 5 years (60 months) old.

man, 1 year, I used to beat the dog chit out of my old land pride, and it took it all.
Doesnt say much for the Bobcat gearbox!

Must have been a defective gear box. Bobcat is pretty good on warranty, they usually will do the labor to! I've seen those 72in cutters take over 4in saplings, though it was on a CT450 it turned them to mulch! instead of a shear bolt, what about investing in a slip clutch?

Rhino used to make the loader. I wonder if they made the mower, as well?
