Canopy ROPS O/D Dimensions MT240?

Does anyone know what the outside dimensions of the tubing on the ROPS on a MT240 are? I’m waiting for delivery on mine and would like to fab some clamps for it. Trying to see if I can get away with rectangular tubing will work or if I’ll have to mill it from aluminum rectangle stock. Thanks in advance.

No idea, but I suggest you wait until you have the machine and can custom fit things as needed.

Makes sense, thats the plan, I'm just trying to see what I'd be looking at for pricing of material. Rectangular tubing is available in 2"x3", but stock only in 3"x4". Curious if the 2x3 will work or if I'll have to go with the 3x4 and mill a bunch off.

The dimensions are 1.80 inches (45.25 mm) x 2.96 inches (75.03 mm). Hopes this helps you out. What type of brackets are you going to make? For what use? Just curious....

I was thinking about making some sort of a bracket to hold a string trimmer/brush saw on the back. Brackets similar to the ones you can buy online but I have access to a milking machine so I though I’d try it myself. Thanks for the dimensions. Just got the tractor today!
