ROPS/Chainsaw holder

Has anyone mounted the chainsaw holder from Northern Tool to their ROPS?
Any pictures to show me how?

I would really like to figure out a way to put a chainsaw on one side of the ROPS and then a small 6 pack cooler and fire extinguisher on the other side. I will have to check out the northern tool unit because so far I haven't been able to locate anything I liked.

I built one out of plywood and it works great, /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Used 1/2" plywood and two 1//2" strips glued along edges.

Get a piece of angle iron and weld on a piece of flat 1/4" plate about 10" by 10" and then use u-bolts to hold it to your rops bars and you will have a dandy cooler platform.

When I worked for teh county highway department on the mowing crew all the tractors had one just like that on them for that exact purpose.

I mounted the Northern Tool chainsaw holder on my rops. Works great. Don't have a picture right now but I was easily able to bolt the bracket through one of the holes already on the rops (the one that holds the bolt when you fold the rops). I never have to fold my rops so this works well. The holder also came with an atv rack attachment - which I leave on my atv. So I can pretty quickly move the chain saw holder over to the atv if I want.
