Is the ROP and easy remove for transport on the 1990 John Deere 755? I just bought one and the ROP does not fold down. jd755.JPG

I highly recommend that you ONLY take the 755 places with adequate clearance for the ROPs,,,

yes it is to transport it to my place and Uhaul only has closed in trailer that is not high enough, so option one is take ROP down for the transport.

Ehh.. looks like if you drive it forward into the trailer you'd only have to notch out a few inches of the trailer roof for it to fit in. :D

Or deflate the tires a little, maybe if it's close..

I think the 2 point ROPS are designed to fold over upon contact moving forward. this way, if there's a rollover and the tractor has forward momentum, the ROPS don't get damaged, I think they thought of everything!.. I don't like that idea, 4 point ROPS for the win!.. also, Lowes or Homedepot or some tool rental place would have a flatbed trailer for the tractor, so no need to test the automatic fold over protection!..
