I have used a root digger in the past but being ignorant of the need for wheel weights I didn't find it satisfactory. I needed to do the job in less time and w/o too much additional digging. Farmer Boy Bill now owns it and has made it proud. I bought the power take off potato digger from Joel and it has been a real help. He has another as the company made him buy two to get one. Not cheap but the right tool for my twenty plus 200' rows of potatoes.
