Rollover & Lucky

Today's Cape Breton Post - front page news. A guy was driving along the side of the highway yesterday and rolled off into the ditch. Amazingly he was pinned under it and still recieved no injuries. Someone was watching over him. I believe it is so important to pass these reports on to as many tractor people as possible. As we have seen not as many people have been as lucky as this guy.

Any details on whether or not there was a ROPS, seatbelt used...? Can't tell about ROPS from pick. Either way, he was really lucky. Good post for any one who drives along the edge of roadways. So many shoulders are pretty soft and roll off pretty steeply. Thanks.

Looks like this is an older Farmall "A" - probably no ROPS or seatbelt. Amazing that he was not hurt or killed. Always need to be aware of what you're doing and where you're at.

There was no indication as to wether or not he had an ROPS or a seat belt he just had good luck.

Yep, that's either an Farmall "A" Super-A, 100, 140 or a Cub. Nobody else was offset like that... Sure there was no ROPS or seatbelt on that one... Looks pretty much identical wo my '41 Farmall-A from the underside.

look kinda cubish to me, the front tires look small for an A.

definatly no rops, or seat belt on that old girl. just like our tractors

Ford had an offset. Don't remember what it was called, but I agree this is some kind of Farmall. Back hitch gives it away and is that a sickle mower bolted to that hitch? The guy may have been mowing that bank, like I've wanted to do.
