Roll Bar messed up shifting???

I have a Bobcat CT450 compact utility tractor which is a rebranded Kioti tractor. Recently, while driving at a slow speed the roll bar hit a low hanging (but large) tree branch. The result is a shifting problem. The transmission shift will allow the transmission to engage in all speeds and reverse. However, the forward-reverse-neutral lever will not engage when the transmission is set to the first and third gears but will engage in second and fourth gears. This is a real mystery. Does anyone have any ideas on what the problem may be?

I’d check the linkages which can be hard to see. My guess is when you hit the limb it jarred something loose.

Sounds like something broke or bent
