Hi everyone,
I need a little help deciding which PTO pump to buy for my rock picker. According to the manual, the picker needs a minimum of 12gpm.
Unfortunately, my tractors hydraulic pump is not fast enough to operate it.
I have been looking at a couple pumps from Surplus Center. 11.9 gpm and 16.6gpm at 540rpm.
I was thinking about buying the bigger pump and running the tractor a little slower. The windrow auger motor and rock hopper motor only use 1/2 lines.
Which pump should I buy?
