Robin Engine Problem

hmmm, $8.99 that seems like pretty reasonable price. I love this site, always learning something.

I'm impressed, that's a lot of hours, 1700. Like 4570Man says, for a cheapish gas engine.

Coil tester shows that the coil is good. It still puts out a spark, it is just too early. Really weird problem. This took me awhile to diagnose.

Just to elaborate, I have had two coil failures in the past year that the coil tester said were good. I am not saying don稚 get a coil tester, but this experience puts doubt in my mind about a å*µood result.

Well don't I feel dumb. You guys made me go out and reread my hour meter. 169.7. Darn that decimal point. I guess us old guys need to make sure we have those bifocals on when we read tiny meters. SMH. I had been wondering how come Moss had so few hours and his ride is six years older than mine. Thought he must not use it too much. LOL.
