Bought a 6" stainless convex trucker mirror on Ebay. Made a cheapo bracket from a 3/8" stainless rod with a couple stainless tabs welded on it.... Now, maybe, I can see those vehicles sneaking up on me as I motivate down the side of the road...

Looks good!
Does it vibrate much?
I hung a rectangular one from a homemade bracket to the cross bar on the front of my canopy.
Great position to be protected since I mow a lot near tree lines but it shakes too much to be clear unless I put a finger on the edge of it.

Us old folks don't drive too fast, especially scarry fast sitting on top of a tractor next to a ditch... :) I'd have to point it down some so I could see the top of your head though... [[ :) :) :) ]]

It's a pretty heavy built mirror meant to be used on 18 wheelers and buses, so it shouldn't move much. Don't know about the mount vibrating... I have been busy putting sides on my 16' trailer to haul firewood, and watering a bunch of b&b trees I planted last spring. I have a few stumps I want to dig out, but waiting until it gets a little wetter so I can seed the mess I make. I'l let you know though.... !!
