Tractor
RK55
Oh my RK55 just turned a 100 and 5 hours and I got a stationary region needed. I went back to the shop. Turned the tractor off when and got to book out to read. And then never could put it in region again. The dealer says it a mechanic with a computer has to come out from Illinois to Tennessee to force region that tractor before I can get it going again.

Has anybody had this problem because it seems like there's only 3 mechanics rual king has is in Illinois and he has to come down to the shop. In Clarksville, Tennessee and put the tractor in a force regen I am lockout of the system You know, you just don't seem right. That I got locked out this easy out of the system and can't do any type of regen Has this happened to anybody else and is there anything else I can do?

Well I have always heard that the RK tractors are nothing more than re-badged TYM machines, so I would be googling forced Regen on TYM tractors for starters. Good luck.

What ever happened to the right to repair movement?

I read that on some systems you can take the pos
battery cable loose and ground it to reset the system

This is a common problem for the RK tractors

They told me to park the tractor, start it and set the engine rpm at least to 2400 rpm and let it run without pushing the regen button. That will kick off a manual regen without any indicators illuminating. It took about 30 minutes or so but everything went back to normal. The exhaust was extremely hot and smelly during this time while the soot was being burned off.
