RK24 vs 37: Steep gravel driveway question

   / RK24 vs 37: Steep gravel driveway question #21
I have 7.5 acres of 10-15 degree hill and the Kubota dealer recommended I go up from a 3301 to a 3901. So I looking at the RK37 myself.

Hey all -

New to the forum, and looking at purchasing a RK24 or 37 to maintain my 20 wooded acres of property in southern Indiana. As much as I love the 37, I like the pricetag on the 24 more, but have one very specific concern: I have to maintain a gravel driveway with a 19 degree/35% slope, and am concerned if the 24 will be able to pull a box scraper up that angle without issue. Any thoughts from the group?

Other uses for the tractor are general firewood processing, brush hogging, trail maintenance, etc.

Thanks!
Get the 37. If you don't, I promise, you'll wish you had.

Also, not sure what grade my driveway is. It's about 400ft total with about 30ft a pretty steep hill, going from my house up to the road. Steep enough that any 2wd vehicle gets stuck if there's ANY snow.
Anyway, my bx2380 will pull my 4ft boxblade, full of gravel, up the hill.
In 4lo, locked with a little weight in the bucket.
I'm always surprised when it does it.
