As a warranty item, I wouldn't be attempting to bypass anything electrical without direct involvement of the dealer.

Had to wait a few days but got the new switch. Installed and working agian. Would have been a peice of cake had it not been for the way the wires were run. I can take the shroud facing the platform off with zero issue. The dash its self though needs to have the steering wheel removed to get any kind of mention able room to work. I was able to get it with out getting a puller to remove the wheel but made a 5 min job into a 30 min one. I really don't understand why they pressed the wheel onto the shaft. Ohh well. Back at it agian tomorrow finally!
