When it comes to higher hp engines, Kubota is not even in the market. Their largest offering is the 4 cylinder V5009 with up to 210 hp. Whether comparable models are superior is open to vigorous debate.

If Iveco had not been holding Cummins hand for 25 years they would be a bit player in the small and medium block 6 cylinder diesel business. B series architecture would have been shelved for not meeting emissions requirements without Iveco influence and the C series was only moderately durable compared to its peers.
