We can only worry about our business, not that of brands from the past or competitors of the present. We are working hard to build the support infrastructure, which is the most important part of the business. Parts, service and information sharing. At our prices, and the quality, specs, features and longest warranty, we can sell as many tractors as we can have built. We realize that to become truly established and respected, we need to take care of our customers, promote our tractors to gain new ones, and become directly accessible to anyone that needs something from us.

To further that, we are going to launch “Ask the RK Tractor Guy” as a direct customer portal to us, where RK Tractors owners or prospective owners can communicate directly with us to get information, answers to questions, look up parts, download manuals, view operation videos, even schedule service or ask one of our techs a question. This will launch before the end of this month. A team of product and service specialists will handle all inquiries.

We sincerely believe that we can be the most accessible and responsive tractor company there is. We are the tractor company and the dealer in one, and with today’s modern forms of communication, we can be a click away from anyone that needs something from us.

Also, look for RK Tractors banner ads on TBN in the next week or so. We are not just a brand with a forum, we are now supporting the community on TBN.

Our hope for the RK Tractors forum on TBN is that is become a true community where people can help each other, answer questions, share experiences and minimize the back and forth and sometimes contentious exchanges. We are going to be active on the RK Tractors forum to try to be a reliable source for people that just want to learn about our tractors, and not worry about what goes on with all of the other brands and forums.

By the way, you will soon see a new member of the community, “RK Tractor Service Guy,” who will focus on addressing all of the operational, parts and service questions that come up on this forum.

We are all veterans of this industry, now part of a team that wants to be part of, and help build something special in RK Tractors.
Looking forward to all of it.

TYM and RK are exactly the same. What's there to compare?

That was exactly the point of post#2
TYM, Branson, Mahindra (some), and RK are all built under the TYM umbrella.

Well done RK!

How "GREAT" something is, or isn't, will only be determined within a decade or so.

For that reason, I don't celebrate getting something new, a new relationship, job or even the New Year. That can only be judged in hind sight.

I'm not trying to knock RK but I imagine similar was said about Cabelas. I would argue that an old business is less risky than a new one. After some years RK is going to see folks exercising that 8 year warranty and it's going to eat into their profitability. The fat heads tend to rethink strategy at this point. I hope RK does extremely well and is around for ages

Tongue in cheek, give us “fat heads” a little credit. For every tractor we sell, we take a set amount of the revenue depending upon HP and place it in a warranty cost reserve to use to pay for our costs associated with the long warranty. Meaning, we have planned for those costs. It is not just a way to instill confidence in our tractor quality, it is fully integrated into our business planning. If someone has a warrantable repair need in the 8th year of the warranty, the money is there for us to repair it without impact to our profitability.

Thank you sir! We will offer RK Tractors in just about every RK location by 2020, but Champaign is not on the list for 2019. We are finishing up the eastern side of our location footprint, and will move to the west for 2020. We will be adding another Tractor Assembly Center (TAC), and the parts & service infrastructure for the west side of our locations. Sorry that it is not sooner.

Some want to wait 10 years to decide whether something is great or not. I'm sorry but I've got things to do now and need a great tractor to do them. I bought my RK55S in August of 2017. Used it for all kinds of things from digging trenches, cutting in driveways, brush cutting and the like. Great tractor, no problems/issues. I am definitely an average person, no special skills, retired with this being the first tractor we've ever owned. Couldn't be happier with our investment. And in ten years when some are ready to jump on the wagon, I'll have my retirement home built and my homestead under control all with the help of our RK55. Just my 2 cents worth!

Any plans to expand into NY? Tractor Supply could use some competition :D
