Ripped sidewall on r1 tire

Sounds like an R4 spec. ... Actually 35psi is to much pressure to use in any tire for AG use. If doing loader work the fronts, if R1, should be inflated to max or more.
These numbers are out of the owners manual and the factory service manual.
For R1s or R4s?

R1 at 35psi. R 4 are higher. I believe in the 40 psi range
Must be with loader. Theres no excuse to run even a front AG that hard unless youre doing loader work. ... If youre using a loader go by OEM pressure spec or higher.

If you maximize pressure beyond tire specs, you run the risk of splitting the tire especially with loader work. Does the oem specs from the tractor company make mention or apply to a certain ply tire? Were the original fronts 4 or 6 ply tires? My manual ( Mahindra) matches almost exactly to the maximized pressure of the front ag tires. (29 lbs)

I just noticed something. The new Carlisle tire is 3/4" smaller in diameter than the used Titan hi traction on the other side. When i looked up the specs they were listed within 1/10" of each other. Not sure why the tire is different than the specs but does the 3/4" matter?

Not when you're in 2 wheel drive. In 4wd, could raise an issue but it might take a while.

Acknowledged. But the tire undergoes a lot of stress if it deflects too much carrying loader loads. Over time the carcass accumulates critical damage and results in a tire thats dangerous to pump up. Routinely bumping the pressure to support the load well, up to 10 or 15%, is a better alternative.

In a few days they will be closer to the same size as the new tire will stretch with use.

Makes sense. ... Have you experienced this much expansion in a tire this size?

OE IS a 6ply Titan at 35 psi. Sidewall says 28. I replaced it with a 6 ply Carlisle. Same specs

I can't comment on a tire of this size at all.

I didn't like the narrow 27x8.5x15 tires on the front of my 4410. I bought a set of 12 inch rims from John Deere that had the same bolt pattern as my 4410. I made them an inch wider and mounted 26x12x12 tires on the rims. What I noticed over time is that the 26x12x12 tires grow enough so that there is virtually no difference in size compared to the original tires. Especially if you ask the tire shop to install tires that are taller so that they match the original tier height. There is probably two inches difference in height between a "small" 26x12x12 and a "large" 26x12x12. It just depends on the tire manufacturer.

Back to answering part of your question. A cheap 26x12x12 can "grow" up to about an inch higher after using it for a few weeks.

I also have the Titan "Hi Traction" ags on my tractor in the 7x16 size. Maximum psi stamped on the tire is 36 lbs on this 6 ply . What is also taken into account is the maximum "bead seating" pressure to be used when installing a tire. Even with install, seating pressures should not exceed maximum load stamped on tire.

My tractor manual states 29lbs as inflated front tire specs. The tire states 36Lbs as both max pressure and max "seating" pressure. I would be willing to live with an increase to 36 psi as stated on tire when doing front lifting. This falls almost within your stated parameter. I would be unwilling however, to bump up pressures passed the stated tire pressure for any reason unless specified by tire manufacturer.

I contacted Carlisle to get their response. This is what they said"We do not recommend inflating above the max PSI rating displayed on the sidewall of our tires. The max PSI we state is in line with Tire & Rim Association guidelines for a 6PR R-1 tire in the 8-16 size. It may be possible that the original tires on the tractor were rated differently by their manufacturer."

My Titan says 28psi. Manual says 35. I have put over 200 hard hours on the 35psi with no ill effects. I just like to have everything right that is why I ask.

You will get nothing, beyond "company line", asking the company. Youre on your own with a tire that they underate for your tractor. "Too bad."

... As long as the tire is undamaged and less than several yrs old [only shallow surface weathercracking] I would just run the 35 youre used to. Loader use causes internal/invisible damage from excessive bulging to a tire run too soft. There is more forgiveness on the moderately hard side when theres a lot of weight on the tire. Try to limit squat at max load to about 3 full bars touching.

That is pretty stupid that Kioti (daedong) puts a tire on that specs a max of 28psi and tells ownes to put 35 psi. Daedong Industries is no small co to do this. I wonder how many other co's do the same thing? My loader lift capacity is 2700 lbs. Maybe that is why Kioti bumps it up.

2700 is considerable. Bound to "overload" R1 fronts. The question becomes which is the lesser evil; excessive squat or overpressure. My 7520 has 4k# lift and most of the 1450 hrs are loader work. The squat at max spec tire pressure is excessive even on the 11.2x24 r1s, so I use 35 psi when I plan concerted use of the loader.

The only time I have used a lower pressure is by accident - or when I have the fronts loaded with fluid. 25 psi is enuf with the latter, but the extra 500# on the front contact patches overpowers the already weak power steering. ... So I mostly just use air at an overpessure sufficient to alleviate excessive squat. At 1450 hrs with heavy loader work my R1s are definitely beaten up; tread wear, chunked tread lugs and moderate cuts and 9yrs of weathercracks, but their carcasses are still fine. ... For reference, I once accidentally put 75psi in one of the fronts while filling with water. It gives an idea of what the tire and rim can withstand. Of course I didnt, and wouldnt, run it that way.

does this have a loader on it? take it to a professional FARM tire shop and have them look at it, they can advise you
