Rims and tires - JD PR84B ‘Harley rake’

Purchased a used power rake from auction, and I’m trying to find new rims for the front gauge wheels. Just need something that will work, not looking for OEM, unless that’s all I can get. I don’t think the guy that owned this did ANY maintenance nor cared a bit for it. I think he was allergic to grease, the more I get into it. But it’s mine now, so I’d like to salvage it if possible.

I’m unfamiliar with rims such as these. 16.5x6.5-8 is tire size.

I need new rim completely for one side and at least new bearings for the other, although likely new rim for both.

Any help appreciated.

Just put "16.5X6.5X8 tire" in search string.... Maybe 20 or so sources will popup to research through..... Personally I would spend the extra bucks and get "flat free" (Marathon) tire & wheel...

A standard laminated tail wheel for a bush hog is 15", so it would only be 3/4" shorter. The standard bolt pattern is 4 bolt on 5". They hold up well to abuse, and never go flat. It might be the cheapest, most durable option.

That was a good thought, and I've gone with it. 2 new hubs, axles, tires, and wheels all 50% of what JD wants for 1 wheel/tire combo. I won't be using it alot, so I'm sure it will work fine.
