Thanks for the reply DONRYbak: I must have received one of my due blessing: I went to the shop to get a status of my jam/locked steering issue. I was prepared for the worse news. The shop guy's stated it was ready. It took them a while to knock it loose, but the shop repairman stated there was noting wrong inside the steering housing. The bearing was all good. The shop repairman could not tell me what caused the lockup. But I am able to turn the inside spindle freely with my hands. And on top of that, it only costed me $135.00. I went to the shop expecting to pay $300.00 to $400.00. Now mounting it back on the tractor, and give it the real test.

Glad to hear that they were able to fix it! I'm curious, however, as to what could have caused it to lock if there was no damage to the bearings. Hoping that it doesn't lock up again when you put the tractor weight on it.

Thanks for the reply: Good point. That would be my luck: Get it remounted, cut a large section, than bang, froze/locked up again. And I assume the power steering fluid will again start to boil hot. And if so it all happen around below the ball joint assembly knuckle arm.
