Riding mower recommendation for hills

I went through this discussion with myself last year and wound up with a X540 with HDAP tires. It climbs my steep hill which approaches 30 degrees without engaging the traction assist most of the time. Also goes down the hill without gaining speed. I have a Kubota L2800 CUT so I am not hung up on the brand just which works best for me and the JD X540 is the cat's meow. Plus you can run the thing at full throttle and still carry on a conversation with someone standing next to you because it is so quiet.

My 20 HP 48 inch cut Murray Mower handles 30 deg slopes with no problem in low gear and plenty of traction with no pucker factor at all.
