Chains Rice Tires and Chains

Do you have a picture of your tractor with the chains? I think I'm going to need some. I'm not sure wich ones I should buy. I understand that there are 2 link and 4 link, I'm not sure how either style would match up. I'm getting a ym1401 with 16" tires. I probably will goto tirechains.com and see if I can find something.

Mark- I noticed you said you were getting a 1401. If you are talking about the 2wd model I would strongly suggest you spend a few more bucks for a 1401D (4WD) model. If you think you need chains you will definitely be happier with 4WD. On a tractor the size of the 1401 it makes a HUGE difference in effectiveness, especially with a FEL.

I plan on using it mostly for mowing. I think it's much easier to get turfs for it also. I was going to use it for snow with a back blade. I wasn't planning to get a loader for it. I know the 4wd would make a big difference though. But it should be ok for what I need. Thanks for replies.

Anyone know what size tire chains will work well for my 8x16 rice tires? Will the size 8x16 be good or will I a wider size like 13.6x16 etc. I'm not to sure how much the profile of the tire willl matter or if I can just adjust them to fit. Thanks.
