Could be my imagination, but after several hours destroying some of nature's uglier work, Sumac and wild grape vines, my B7510 feels like it's reverse gear moves slower than it has in the past.

Now, I've got her in 4WD, low gear AND the parking brake isn't set (I have done this, sad to say), but it just seems to be creeping. RPMs are around 2000 when I'm doing the deed for the most part.

Checked visually for leaks, didn't see any. Also checked the fluid levels, which are good.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

Now, just 'cuz I really am enjoying this, I'll post a couple of pictures. We've got some lake property in Central Michigan that we finished building on this year. I think maybe the fact that after the project was done I had consumed too many celebratory beers, and decided that we need to put in a small golf course, 3-5 short holes.

So, this is a before shot:

Here's a shot of my girl and the mess behind her that was about to die.

That new toothbar is amazing, worth every penny.

A picture of the same area that showed my purty tractor, but with some missing vegetation

Did I mention how great that toothbar works?

And this one I just really like, 'cuz it shows a lot of tore up Earth, and a happy tractor.

I'm truly amazed at how tough this 21HP tractor is. I've got some enormous brush/dirt piles from all of this cleanup, huge piles of the stuff, and the tractor just keeps going back for more.

By the way, my wife is catching on to me that it isn't all 'hard work'. Gotta work on the sweaty brow thing more, and act tired when I come back in the house.

Look under the tractor, specifically under the HST pedal and look at the linkage. See if you have a stick wedged in the linkage that prevents the pedal from being fully depressed in reverse. Looking at the brush you have been removing, I would suspect this might be the cause.

I'll take a peek, that's a very obvious answer, now that you've given it to me. You are correct, there have been a large amount of sticks and branches that have fallen to the might of the tractor, and I have had to pull a few out of various spots.
Many thanks.

And if you don't have a stick or debris in there blocking the linkage, look for nuts that might be loose. If I'm not mistaken, that linkage is adjustable, and normally comes adjusted so the tractor will run half as fast in reverse as in forward.

If you run over a log and it crushes up under the chassis on the steel HST pressure or return line, you will get inhibited power that will feel like your tractor has lost power. A crimped line inhibits flow and the entire rig will become less powerful, even though the engine works and sounds just fine. Keep that in mind, in case you have a pinched hydraulic line...

Thank you, gentlemen. I'll find out what the culprit is and take care of it. Gotta teach these sticks, logs and other things who the boss is around here! Right now, I think one of them has claimed the title.

Great suggestions, thanks.

Dozernut, you win a CIGAR!

I made the 100 mile trip to see my little buddy (and do some more work) today. Attached is the picture of the dirty little punk that was slowing down my tractor.

BAD STICK!!!
