I just discovered that the little fuel return-line was just hanging from the tank; I had wondered what it was, just wrapped around the fuel filler-neck, but thought it was just a wire, until just now when I had the hood off.

The little steel "nipple" is missing from the injector return-line assembly, probably broken off.

I probed it's hole/opening with a 1/16 bit and could poke it quite a ways back in there.

The engine runs like a brand-new (all mechanical) Cummins.

I started and ran the tractor (just sitting, no load), and I did not see any fuel dripping/squirting from that opening.

I haven't taken time yet to remove the injector-lines for further inspection.

Shouldn't there be quite a healthy stream of fuel cycling through ??

Some previous owner has installed a compact little 4-PSI electric pump.

How am I gonna fix this ??

Thanks.
