I'm about 6 1/2 years ahead of you, and retirement is great. Just that there are no days off, and I think I work harder and keep busier (couldn't find the time to go to work, for sure) than when I worked. Happy to be retired.
I don't accept any to-do lists from anyone else, but have a few in mind all the time for myself.
Enjoy your free time (if you find any /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif ). Taking a break while my shed doors are being installed, and I'm trying not to hover over the installer so he doesn't get too nervous. Then that leaves the windows, doors, siding and trim left for me to do, and after that the shelves and storage, along with the electric to put in.
Then there is the landscaping to do, and the grass seed to sow, and then return the 3pt tiller and Woods Gill pulverizer that I rented (for me, that pulverizer was a waste of time). In between, there is grass to mow, grand children to visit (volley ball games) and lunch for a fellow soon-to-be retiree. Whew. Enjoy!! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
Some days you will long for the 'restful' work environment with the security that it offers, and the excuse that it offers when you want to say 'no' to a project or committment. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
