Restore finish on for 3910 tach

The glass on my Ford 3910 tractor tach is very hazy from being out in the weather. Is there a way to restore the finish?

I don't know what the lens is made of...glass, plexi-glass, etc... But i've had good luck polishing non-glass lenses and windows with a product called Plexus. I've also used Meguiars Mirror Glaze with good results on various lenses and things.

Update
Well i took the tach apart and it was very easy. There was some dust inside so i cleaned it as good as i could. Then i took the polycarbonate lens and started the polishing process with the 3M lens cleaner kit i bought. Somewhat of a job as it was in very rough shape. Totally etched out and very yellowish. So bad it was hard to read tach. So after i went through all the levels of sandpaper and polishing it looks like new. Now i'm dealing with the black plastic bezel. It is very tarnished and faded so i have purchased a can of spray paint for plastic. I will post pics once I'm done but so far it is looking awesome.
