Nice work on the reskin. I have run the kkII tiller in rocky ground for 12 -13 years. Same sheet metal cracks as you. But no bent tail 
. I've replaced all the tines once. Was going to just replace the 8-9 broken ones, but the new ones had a couple inches more length. Didn't know they wore that much.
