Tractor
Kubota B2710
I'm getting ready to replace my 99 B2710 with a John Deere 3520. Yes I know the John Deere is a bigger tractor, but I really like that auto-connect deck . Is there any way to space out the rear tires? They seem very close for a tractor of this size.

Spacing the tires depends on the rims, and they can be different for R-1, R-4, and Turf

Check with dealer to learn about what your 3520 will come with.

Also, if spacing the tires will inhibit the deck lifting clearance.

Quite a few guys buy spacers to add an extra 2-4" per side in the rear. This makes it more stable but costs about $350 for the spacers. I did that and it makes a lot of difference.

8-position rear wheels can be had as an option for most all of the 2000, 3000 and 4000 Series of John Deere tractors. Thus, tire/tread width can be adjusted without the need for spacers.

Just make sure you have these types of modifications done as part of the setup before delivery. A local dealership charged $320 to pick up and return a tractor -- John Deere 4005 -- which had the rear wheels moved out to set the tread widths to match front and rear. (John Deere recommends -- along with proper ballasting -- that on all series tractors utilizing the 300, 300X, and 300CX Loaders, the tread widths of both the front and rear tires be the same.)
