Does anyone have experience/directions for replacing GC2400 ignition switch?

I had to pull mine back in 2021 (needed cleaning badly) but don't remember much about it. would think if was hard something would have stuck in my mind.

Do you remember how to dismantle the new switch to install

An update: These ~82YO eyes and brain finally happened into a realization that this ignition switch is identical to all others they have encountered. This is a well designed/pretty unit with the black on black retaining ring nearly impossible to detect (remember the ~82YO eyes and brain), but it screws off just like most other switches. It is an easy fix.

So God willing, and with warmer weather, I will complete this job. Just not today.

Some progress! I replaced (but did not fully install) the new ignition switch. I'll do that in the next couple of days.

The procedure to remove is:
1. Remove the foot screen to gain access to the back of the switch.
2. Remove the ignition switch trim ring.
3. Push the ignition switch back and pull down on the wiring harness. Space is limited to do this so it takes some effort.
4. Pull back the wiring harness shield and depress the shield lock to remove the connector.
5. Connect new switch to connector and start tractor to check if everything works. Voila!!!

It's done, and parked in the normal spot. I need some new screws/bolts to better attach the foot screen.

My screen messed up on lower right tab, washers involved to hold it and it still slips. and then gets in the way when removing the FEL connections. not a huge fan of that design.
