Replacing teeth on a Harley take

Hello,

I am buying a used Harley take that is missing 5 teeth. I looked on you tube and no information on replacing broken teeth. Anyone have any experience with this? Is it possible? Thank you

I think the teeth are threaded into the drum might try heat and vice grips, Found some that are weld on also..

They are not threaded into the drum, they are welded on and can be purchased through a Paladin dealer or a quick google search brought this up CARBIDE TOOTH - Parts & Accessories - Skid Steer - Browse By Category | Ford Distributing. I replaced 10 or so on an older skid steer harley rake i had years ago. I also just used some hard facing with my welder to build some up, that worked really well too.

Each brand is probably somewhat different. I have a ventrac power rake which is essentially the same thing. The carbide tips have spring steel that hods it in with a separate steel collar on the outside to fill in the overhang of the hole. It allows enough play in the tip to be able to get a chisel into it to pop it out if need be.
