Has anyone replaced their stock seat with a suspension seat. When running rotary cutter on pasture I get bounced around all over the place so I wanted to change my seat to something that would make for a more comfortable ride. Thanks for the help.

Not on that machine. The job is doable without major fab work. At worst you have to make your own adapter plate, at best you find a seat base that bolts on directly to your machine. I put a grammar seat base on my zero turn and I'm happy I did it. If it wasn't so expensive I'd put one on my tractor too.

As noted, should not be hard but you'll have to fab up the mounting base or adapter or perhaps repurpose the mounting from the existing seat (which isn't much more than a hinge with springs).

I had a 2920 and it was a good little tractor, and a hot rod with all that HP.

I bought a Grammar suspension seat from Seat warehouse a couple of years ago, cost was about $160. It was a big improvement over the crappy seat that my LS came with.
Shortly after that, I just bought the suspension platform for my zero turn, as I like the factory seat quite a bit, it was comfortable, but rode a bit rough.

Both needed a couple of extra holes drilled, but were easy to install, and the end result was well worth the trouble. A note of caution on the seat though, if you weigh more than about 240, You may want to upgrade to a heavier duty suspension seat.

Yes, I would also suggest reusing the current seat and installing one of these, as long as you can live with it's 8 inch height and $300 price tag:

I've looked at the suspension seats and adapters but the problem for me is that they put the seat up much higher. I feel more comfortable sitting low rather than like a sitting duck. :)

The added height is what I was worried about. Thought maybe someone had found a seat or way to mount that would avoid that. Thanks for the advice.

I just took a measurements from my F3060, and if the factory seat suspension & back/forth slide adjustment was removed this suspension would elevate the factory seat by 2 inches.

I could probably live with that and not be able to adjust back/forth. The tilt steering helps.
