Replacement Seat Deere 5200, 5300, 5400 tractors

After 22 years of good service the seat cushions of my open station are cracking open.

Has anybody installed the AI aftermarket Seat # RE62227 ? Would you recommend it over the Original Deere.

I hesitate to buy Deere when the aftermarket for about the same money gets a complete seat vs two Deere cushions. :2cents:

I don't know about Deere specifically, but I bought an aftermarket seat (E-Bay) for my Ford 1920, and it is excellent.
Just ordered an aftermarket seat (E-Bay) last night for my new to me Kubota L48 TLB.
Kubota OEM factory seat was to be $698 + shipping.
Aftermarket (China?) for the Kubota ( same supplier as my Ford replacement) was $129.95, incl shipping.
We shall see when it arrives, but based on the Ford experience, I am expecting all good.

BTW: If you are buying from AI,..... they do seem to sell decent quality stuff.

And I believe the AI seat has a one year warranty, the ones I got for my gator did

just a thought, does your tractor have a seat switch? if so, be sure the replacement one has a provision for it
