Howdy TBN'ers!
I'm just getting ready to replace (for the fourth time in 21 years though!) the solid rubber gage wheels on my midmount Kubota mower deck. The wheels I am referring to are the front outer wheels which swivel. I'm also ready to replace (for the first time) the elongated roller type of wheel on the back of the deck - that is, the roller wheel that determines rear deck height and reduces scalping.
For those of you who have replaced these wheels, you know they are pricey! The front two swivel gage wheels run over $80 for the pair. So, to the point of this post... Does anyone know of any aftermarket OEM or non-OEM sellers of similar solid rubber wheels that could fit. I figure if the outer diameter is close, and of course axle diameter exact, any good industrial caster wheel ought to do.
