Chains are for ice, snow or protecting tires used in the woods or quarries.
Industrial R4 tires maybe a good compromise. All other factors identical Radials will have more traction.

Keep the turfs and use chains. They work well in almost all conditions to increase traction. Just ensure the ones you get have a ride smooth ladder placing.

Haven't tried it but my thinking is that chained turfs will have superior traction in any circumstance over unchained R4's. I would not doubt that turf tires take the most advantage of chains as their surface is even.
To the op, I'd get a good set of 2 link ladder chains. Inexpensive and will change what you think your tractor is now.
