Repairing bent link pin mount on EBESTTECH Ballast Box

All,

I'm looking for some suggestions on how to fix a bent upper link pin mount on a new ballast box that was damage during delivery. I did contact the company and I'm waiting for a reply. In the meantime I'm wondering if there's a somewhat easy way to straighten this out?

Our local farm supply wanted a ridiculous amount for a ballast box so I went the mail order route hoping for the best. Nothing is simple it seems

Looks like the pin will almost still fit.
You're right, things just can't be simple anymore.

A large Crescent wrench with the jaws closed enough to just barely slide over the bent metal vertically. Then just apply leverage force to the side to straighten.

Big wrench (crescent) and a pipe over it for leverage... OR long bar with hole in the end and use a bolt to grasp the bent tab....
