Snow removing sub frame/snowblower on Kioti Ck30 hst

Hi everyone hope someone can help me out here. I bought a new Kioti CK 30 hst with front mount snowblower. It is now the time to take it off and I am not sure how to do it. The dealer showed me two mounting pins on the subframe that you take off to release the undercarriage/blower in one piece.
What I want to know is I am not storing it inside this Summer as I will not have a garage built till Fall. Should I drop the blower on the grass or should I put something under it. Should I cover it with a tarp or not. Would a skid be ok for the snow blower to sit on for storage or not. I should also make sure the ground is pretty level so it will make it easier to reconnect in the Fall.
Any suggestions would help me out a lot cause I am a newbie.

I drop my front mount snowblower on a skid. You and me have virtually the same machine only mine is a CK27HST.
