Hi, I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to remove the pin of the below images.

I've taken the pin/bolt out but wondered if the pin should knock straight out and or if there is side to knock it out. The reason for needing to remove the pin is because i can't get any grease into it, i have tried replacing the grease nipple but still the same.

This is a Takeuchi tb015
Thanks.

It should knock out either side now that you got the bolt out. Those pins can be really stubborn at times. Heat the pin bosses as a last resort if it refuses to move.

Big hammer!!!

I would try from one side, if it moves, then over drive the pin back in from the other side. So you end up "wiggleling" it a little. Use oil where you can.

I'm not sure how much heat will help unless you use a whole lot of it.

Good luck, You'll need, those can be real tough.

I had to fix my dads back hoe last winter because grease would not go into one pin but he figured it would be fine, at least he was greasing 7 of 8 pins!?!:confused2: Guess which one seized and broke.
