Grand L 3540 HST-3, R4's
I just have to say today I removed my 724 loader from my L3540 Grand L for the first time and is was so easy to do. I wanted to remove it so I could put the Woods 72" three point Finishing Mower on and try to mow the back 2 aces without the weight of the loader being on. I can say it worked great mowing without the extra weight of the loader and the bucket being out front. Tractor did not leave any tracks on lawn even with the weight of the Grand L. I have mowed before with my BX23 TLB and my B3200 TLB, backhoes were off but loaders were on, and sometimes the B3200 would leave tracks that would go away in a day or two. I have R 4's on the Grand L and the rear tires must be 18" to 20" wide so I believe that is the reason no tracks on lawn,:D do you guys agree?

Yes, it's all about pressure per square inch on your lawn, and the wide tires reduce that.

Visability is a lot better too, I much prefer cutting sans FEL when possible.
