Remove and reinstall old tires?

On further inspection, the sidewall on one of the tires is delaminating. I expect the tires will not survive a re-mount... so I'll take the band-aid approach for now to see how many years I can squeeze out of these before restoring the tractor (something I hope to do anyhow).

Thanks - Chris

i deffinately would not try to remount a delaminating tire. bead may seperate and that is dangerous.

if the core of the valve stem is leaking.. that's a pretty easy fix. if it's leaking from around the stem on a tube tire.. tube has a hole.

if it is tubeless, you can actually get a tool to pop the old stem out and then clean the hole.. then put a new one in, from the outside. pretty much squeezes a stem into a pipe that is shoved intot he hole, and then the stem popped in a bit with a push rod.

alternately, on a tubeless with a stem that leaks a bit.. those slime sealants, added to the tire, then rolled around to coat the base of the stem, usually seal em up..
