I just bought a Bush Hog Squealer SQ720. The four bolts that hold the Gearbox assembly are loose. So to get to them i have to remove the Blade pan( stump Jumper) and blades. Well after 10 minutes i finally got the nut and washer off. After about three hours of pounding through the hole on the base i think the blade pan moved a little bit, just a wee bit. I have now flipped the whole thing over and sprayed some blaster penatrating oil on it, so it could hopefully work down into the grooves until tommarrow night. Does any one have any advice on how to get the blade pan off a little easier?
