Newbe here, just got a used Kubota B7500 hsd and was thinking about some remotes but looking through the manual appears that the pump only generates 4.4gpm...? Am I reading that right? Was thinking about wood splitter, TNT, backhoe, etc

Thanks!

You could use the Prince LSR3060 regen valve with your tractor

Would that work for a BH? Just wondering if I should even mess with a remote given that flow rate or if it would be best to begin considering a pto driven pump?

I suggested that valve for the log splitter valve.

For remotes, any of the open center valves would work, 1 to 4 spool valve.

Thanks JJ! Newbe here so I am unsure of the gpm requirements for many implements and if these specs are right for my 7500? Seem kinda anemic..

Probably about right. We have a B7500 with a loader and I made some adapters to connect the loader valve to a 1/2" ag fitting. Worked well, but wasn't fast.

The thing about hyd power, is you have to have the HP to drive the pump and the other functions of the tractor.

Since you only have about 21 HP, the largest pump you could use would be a 10 GPM pump at 3000 psi. That is the HP just to drive the pump. Anything less in pressure and GPM will take less HP to run it.

You can still run just about anything hyd with what you have, just slower.

Speed of operation is relative to hyd GPM that you have, and the potential force is relative to the pressure the pump can develop.

You have 7 GPM total, so some of that is for the PS, which leaves you with 4.4 GPM to work with.
