I am pretty happy with mine, you still doing good with yours?

Very happy! I mean, I don't have a GRAPPLE, but still pretty happy ;-)

I've never once concerned myself with the Regen process. The engine has never surged nor coughed even once before, during or after its process. If I'm done I get out. Period!

Now there has been the odd time here and there where if I've been working it in 100 degree weather with A/C on that I've idled it for 10 mins or so in the shed before shutting it down.
That, to me anyway, is just common sense.
To let it cool itself down after a hard day's work.

My Kioti has a linked pedal function. But when using linked pedal, the DPF clogs up faster and the tractor spent most of its time warming up to operating temperature, running rich. The tractor also lost power as the exhaust filter clogs up. Since I was sold on the idea that regeneration cycles would only happen every fifty hours, and my way of using was regeneration cycles every 12 or so hours, I installed a warmer thermostat. Now with over 50 hours since my last manual regeneration cycle, I haven't lost power and the tractor has performed flawlessly. I'm very pleased with the result. Over on the My NX6010 thread, I documented my methodology to find and fit a warmer thermostat.
