Refurbished IH 1300 7ft Sickle Bar Mower

This is a 7' IH 1300 belt drive sickle bar mower. It is catagory 1, 3 point hitch, 540 PTO. It has new double guards, new wear plates, a new belt, a new grassboard, a new PTO shield, a new sickle head & pin, new hold downs, and new sickle sections in the sickle. All the guards are put in with new lock nuts. The shoes are put on with lock nuts so they won't be working loose while you are mowing. This mower will mow 90 degrees above horizontal or 70 degrees below horizontal. Price is $3150 + modest shipping. Ken Sweet

I found a 6 footer with hydraulic raise/lower for $600 bucks, but it's not restored like that one....

Hey, that is neat, I have never seen a IH 1300 in the 6 ft or one with factory hydraulics. Got any pics? You may have a rare one !! Ken Sweet

Wish it had a 8' bar on it. Do you think it'd be expensive to retrofit an 8' sickle bar on it?

Buy it soon, if it has not got any breaks or welds. 9 ft bar machines would probably be easier to find than a 8, We have 2 complete machines with 9 ft bars. Ken Sweet

I just noticed in the PM you sent me that it a Round Tubular A-Frame and not the later model Flat stock A-Frame. That will also indicates a older machine. Ken Sweet

Any of your's have hydraulic lift cylinder? I'd really like a longer reach than 6' and still have hyd cyl to change angle easily & lift for transport.

No,Ours never have Hydraulic lift. It is "Rare" If it has factory Hyd lift. It is a steal a the price we were discussing via PM. If it has been added on, cut the value in half. Ken Sweet
