Harv thats a great fix. Where a friend of mine lives they have a half tailed HOA. They wont work on big items like road work, But a crooked mail box and your public enemy number one. Well HOA lead man's son is a mason and hes supposed to do all the work on the boxes and chimeys. The problem was when most were put in in that sub division the natural lay of the land there was a thick ridge of topsoil that laid in an old stagecoach trail. My freind had his box reset by HOA son in law for 250 bucks. He was in a tight job wise and had been fined 100 dollars after it fell over the second time.
I asked about doing a fix for him so he agreed. I took the skid steer over there and we moved the box. Then took a freinds ex Power co truck and bored 2.5 feet to the clay then then 3 feet more. I set an old 6 inch steel pipe in concrete and then used some 4 inch angle iron made into a box frame to hold the base together. We may have his chimeney to do next its staterded to lean bit.
