My father-in-law used to crush pop cans with his loader. Just sat them on the barn floor and dropped the loader bucket on them. Then used the loader to pick them up and drop them into a box. Worked pretty good.

I use the ROPS when I need a stable high step to work from. Just back the tractor to the place, shut down the engine and climb up. Maybe rudiculous, but I trust it more than ladder.

Somebody on here today posted that they were trying to catch fish with theirs, put it in the pond anyways

This past Christmas my wife bought a 10 foot artificial Christmas tree. The box is about 6' long and weighs about 95 pounds. When it came time to store it in the garage loft I could not lift it up on the ladder. The loft is about ten foot high. So I used ratcheting straps and straped it to the loader, picked it up and set one end in the loft climbed the ladder and removed the straps pushed it the rest of the way. My wife said I had a grin on me from ear to ear.

Ok...so I'm out in the yard with the wife filming her dogs and I hear the sound of a diesel rev up...of course that is the call to look. What I see next is...well, just another day in the neighborhood.
There is a good sized pond and they are using the lift as a diving board. After jumping the operator lowered the boom for them to climb back on and raised the bar to new heights. That was a pretty high.

here is a duel use...
I built and mounted a seat to the bucket. with seat belts. Wife opperates the machine while I trimm trees with a pole saw.
(that is one use)
One late afternoon,the tractor dies, I look down, and she is headed to the house on foot, stating "I need to pee". (she just leaves me up in the air)
My queen of my double wide returns and askes me to take her out to supper. I refuse the request, and she heads back to the house on foot. (me still up in the air) A time latter she returnes again, and makes her request. This time I am much more agreeable to supper out !
(That is the second use)
